This sixth installment in the long-running “Ice Age” franchise - a Twentieth Century Fox property dating to 2002’s “Ice Age” that, after Disney’s acquisition of that studio, sits under the House of Mouse’s expansive umbrella - feels in no way like big-screen fare. After a couple of years of impressive animated feature films being released on the streaming platform Disney+ - either exclusively or on the same day a movie hits theaters (and possibly coming with a hefty extra fee) - “The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild” has that direct-to-video feel.
